1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Pilo Talk ("we", "us", "our"), and govern your access to and use of the Pilo Talk app, website, and related services (together, the "Service").
By downloading the app, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. You must be 18 or older
Pilo Talk is an adult sexual-education product. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using Pilo Talk you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Education, not medical advice
Pilo Talk provides evidence-based sexual education and body-literacy content for general informational purposes. Every factual claim links to a source where possible.
The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the guidance of a qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services right away.
4. Your account and device
Pilo Talk is offline-first, and your lesson progress lives on your device. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use.
5. Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or resell any part of the Service or its curriculum.
- Redistribute lesson content or present it as your own.
- Attempt to disrupt or compromise the security or integrity of the Service.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Section 1 (Your Body) is free. Sections 2 to 4 require a premium subscription. Pricing, trials, billing cycles, renewals, and cancellation are described in our Subscription Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including the Pilo character, curriculum, artwork, trademarks, and software, is owned by Pilo Talk or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pilo Talk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
